Toddler Program

MMA's Toddler program offers  children ages 18 – 36 months a remarkable journey of self-development in a special environment that gives the child the ability to engage in empathy, respect, and support. Our school provides a nurturing atmosphere outside of your home, fostering a unique relationship that supports your child's adventure and quest for independence.

The Toddler environment is focused on supporting your child as he or she achieves the skills to “do it myself.” Students have freedom of movement to explore and manipulate classroom materials in our warm and nurturing  environment, given the time they need to accomplish their work. Activities change and evolve as the child grows. The specially prepared Montessori environment allows the toddler to develop and refine movements, increase language, and create social relationships with other children. The freedom to explore is guided by three essential principles that will benefit your child for a lifetime - respect of self, respect for others, and respect for the environment.
