About MMA

who are we?

Monmouth Montessori Academy is an authentic Montessori school with multiple campuses in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Serving children from 18 months old through middle school the experience at MMA focuses on the development of the whole child: socially, academically, and emotionally. Our children are empowered to reach their greatest potential, foster their sense of self, and preserve their intrinsic love for learning in an environment that supports freedom within limits, individualized learning, all while feeling safe and loved.

who were we?

MMA was started in 2012 by parents with a beautiful vision for their three young children. They were determined to create an exceptional learning and caring environment not only for their own children, but for all children. What started as one small class with a dozen children, grew every year, and as the children thrived and demand grew, so did the school.

who will we become?

Monmouth Montessori Academy is committed to the child-centered, development-based  learning philosophy that fosters academic excellence, personal growth and cultural awareness while nurturing our children’s spirits. MMA will continue to grow for as long as children need us to.
